The Wrong People

Getting into a bad situation with the wrong people.

Artists always complain that their managers are not doing enough of their job, and their record label is not promoting them, or that the booking agent they have hired is not keeping them busy.

Worse of all can be, “my boss cheated me” or something like “Drummer didn’t turn up for the gig”! ‘

Investigate someone into whose possession you’re entrusting a part of your future.

Look at their credentials. Request some references, and after you have a few, ask for some more.

Try to get the personal feedback for the individuals.
