SUCCESS and TALENT are independent of AGE! Period.
If you’ve got a great idea, song, or voice, it is entirely possible to build a dedicated fanbase and enjoy a successful and famous music career. Let’s look at a few amazing artists who were rocking the music industry even into their 40s:
- At 47, Susan Boyle was a nobody until she got picked up by Britain’s Got Talent – her life changed overnight!
- Rapper 2 Chainz was 36 when he released his debut album, which peaked on worldwide charts
- Willie Nelson was a struggling songwriter/singer in Nashville who moved to Texas at 40. His Shotgun Willie was released shortly after, which topped the Billboard 100 Chart.
- Andrea Bocelli was an unknown singer until the age of 35. His ‘Sacred Arias’ was the most famous classical album ever made by a solo artist, which sold over 5M copies when he was 41.
- Bonnie Raitt struggled in Philadelphia for most of her music career until she eventually made it big at 40!
- Being a Missouri Elementary School teacher, Sherly Crow was repeatedly rejected by several record labels. She eventually achieved worldwide fame with her ‘All I Wanna Do’ single at 31.
